Before you ask
Can I apply to more than one program?
Yes — list up to three in order of preference on a single application. If your first-choice program is full, we'll automatically consider the second and third.
When do classes start, and what does the year look like?
The main intake begins on 18 August 2026. There's a second intake in January for selected business and computing programs. Each year has two 15-week semesters separated by a study break.
How do I pay — and can I pay in instalments?
Tuition can be paid in two instalments per semester, by bank transfer, mobile money, or international wire for overseas applicants. We never charge late fees in the first two weeks of a semester.
Do you accept transfer credits?
Yes, from any IUCEA-accredited university and most international institutions. Send us your transcripts and we'll do a free credit evaluation within five working days.
Is there on-campus housing?
Halls on the Mengo campus and partner residences within 10 minutes of Kabaka Anjagala accommodate roughly one in three students. Allocations open the day you accept your offer.
What if I need a student visa?
Once you accept your offer, our international office issues the formal acceptance letter the Ugandan immigration department requires. Most visas are issued within 4–6 weeks.
